Chief Oil & Gas, LLC, has announced that its leasehold interest in the Marcellus Shale has increased to more than 560,000 acres; that it currently has 39 wells drilled into the shale (28 horizontal and 11 vertical); and that it has set a $325 to $350 million development budget for 2010 to drill approximately 70 wells.
